This historic and romantic setting dates back to 1903, before the five-story hotel building was built. The Jack Dempsey Room was the site of the original Mizpah saloon, and was named for world heavyweight champion, Jack Dempsey. Dempsey worked in the mines and as a bouncer at the Mizpah hotel in the early 1900s, before he began the boxing career that would make him famous.

Purchase of an entrée includes toasted bread with house-made dipping sauce to start, a mixed greens salad, and a selection of miniature cheesecakes for dessert. An appetizer course and additional dessert options can be added to any dinner menu for an additional charge.
